Jon Memsic has over 35 years experience in the Lighting industry. Prior to forming his own company, Jon was employed by two major Fortune 100 American Corporations in the Lighting industry. Jon excelled in every position during his career including Regional Sales Vice President, Director of National Accounts and Vice President of Sales. Jon has extensive experience in Commercial, Industrial, Retail, DOT, National Accounts, OEM, Utility, Distribution, ESCO's and Engineering.
Jon’s business experience reaches beyond recruiting to include expertise as a successful hiring manager. He is responsible for hiring over 100 new employees between 1991 and 2008 when he formed his recruiting company. This practice of evaluating, hiring, training and continuous evaluation of employees brings added expertise to the recruiting process. Retention of quality employees is also an integral part of value recruitment. Jon’s retention rate for the employees he has hired is excellent. Many of the candidates that Jon has hired, trained and mentored have progressed to high level executive positions in corporate America. In addition, this background and experience has led to the establishment of extensive professional contacts within the industry throughout North America.
Jon has been active in sales training since 1996 and can assist companies with their sales training program to improve employee selling skills resulting in increased sales volume and profit margins.
Jon has a Bachelor of Science in Business with emphasis in Marketing and Economics from California State University, Long Beach. He is a long standing member of the Illuminating Engineering Society and has participated in many management courses through the AMA and associated organizations.
